Network Card Configuration Tips

LAN Configuration:

For XP User's the LAN Card will be automatically detects

For Win-98 & 95 Peoples see the procedure below:

Step1 :

-> Install a NIC (Network Interface Card) into your System (Except Onboard NIC)
-> Switch On Computer
-> See the "New Hardware Found"
-> Click "Next"
-> Locate the Path & Location
-> Click "Next"
-> Click "Finish"

After Install You should configure the IP Address for your Internet (or) Network Setup see the procedure here: (For both XP & 98 Users)

Step2:

-> Start
-> Control Pannel
-> Network Connections (or) related
-> Local Area Network (or) Network Neighbourhoud
-> Right Click it
-> Goto TCP / IP
-> Change the IP Address & Subnet Mask as your wish
Example:
IP Address : 192.168.1.29
Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0
Gateway : 192.168.1.1

Primary DNS : 202.9.145.12
Secondary DNS: 202.9.145.15
-> Ok & Finish
